The Company SURFACE CONCEPT delivers products and technology services for physical and chemical analysis of surfaces. We carry on precompetitive research and development of devices for analytical electron microscopy and surface inspection. Main focus of our work is the time resolved detection of electrons, combined analytical tools for nanotechnology and miniaturized electron optical components. Our customers are medium-sized businesses and research institutes. Beside our products, we offer the analysis and transfer of their research results to the market, accompained by high- level technology consulting.
The partners SURFACE CONCEPT is since September 2005 a privat limited company with Dr. Andreas Oelsner, Prof. Dr. Gerd Schönhense and Dr. Christian Ziethen as partners. Surface Concept was founded as spin-off at the Institute of Physics, Johannes Gutenberg-University, Mainz.
