Constant Fraction Discriminators
Electronic signal processing device, to mimic the mathematical operation of finding a maximum of a pulse by finding the zero of its slope. It is used to generate exact time stamps from wide pulses with changing signal amplitudes, but a constant rise time.
Constant Fraction Discriminator in stand-alone housing for processing of analogue pulses for readout of e.g. Channeltrons, MCP stacks etc. Device is available with up to 6 channels.
- Input signal frequency (max.): 115MHz
- Input amplitude range -50mV to -1.5V (positive input range on request)
- Output jitter vs. input at fixed amplitude < 14ps
- Typ. time walk < 30ps
- Switchable between gated and ungated operation
